Michael J. Fox, the Emmy-winning actor of Family Ties and the Back to the Future trilogy, spoke recently about how his daughters have responded to his iconic portrayal as Marty McFly. He did this while showing up to the Los Angeles Comic Con, chatting with fans about his experience in the classic film series and sharing his family’s reactions to his work.

Back to the Future, by the now acclaimed Robert Zemeckis and debuted in 1985, became an overnight cultural phenomenon. The film, in which Christopher Lloyd also acted, along with Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover, and Thomas F. Asked if his daughters have watched the films, Fox candidly admitted, “I don’t know if my daughters have seen it.”
