Albinder Dhindsa, co-founder and CEO of Blinkit, shared the news on social media, announcing that Blinkit will deliver the iPhone 16 in key cities—Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru—on the very launch day of the new iPhone.
“Get the all-new iPhone 16 delivered in 10 minutes! We’ve partnered with @UnicornAPR for the third year in a row, bringing the latest iPhone to Blinkit customers in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru—on launch day! P.S. – Unicorn is also providing discounts with select credit cards, and EMI options are available too,” Dhindsa said.
Blinkit, traditionally known for its rapid delivery of groceries and essentials, is expanding its services to high-demand tech products like the iPhone 16. Collaborating with key Apple retailers like Unicorn, Blinkit ensures immediate availability and delivery of the iPhone 16 to its users.
Meanwhile, long queues were spotted outside the Apple stores in Delhi’s Saket and Mumbai’s BKC, with customers eager to be among the first to get their hands on the new device.
A customer, Akshay, shared his excitement: “I came at 6 am. I purchased the iPhone 16 Pro Max. I love the new iOS 18 and the improved zoom camera quality. I came all the way from Surat.”
Another customer, Ujjwal Shah, shared his experience: “I’ve been in the queue for the last 21 hours. I arrived at 11 AM yesterday and will be the first one to enter the store today at 8 AM. The excitement in Mumbai for this phone is amazing. Last year, I stood in line for 17 hours!”
Apple launched the new iPhone 16 variants in the second week of September, and the phones are available starting today, Friday, September 20th. The base variant of the iPhone 16, with 128 GB storage, is priced at ₹79,900.
To ensure swift deliveries, Blinkit has optimized its micro-fulfillment centers, strategically positioning stock across major cities. While the service is currently available in select areas, plans for expansion are in the works.
